[9] I am the Self, entirely pure, without a veil,1 unaffected by nescience or its false suggestions or by actions and their results. Though (apparently) clothed in the powers of sight, hearing, etc., I am one without a second, eternally fixed in my own true nature, motionless like the ether of the sky. ~Alston
9. Not distanced by anything from Itself and untouched by Ignorance, false conceptions (of possessing a body etc.) and by actions, the Self is very pure. Without a second and established in My real nature like the immovable ether, I am (thought11to be) connected with the powers of seeing and other perceptions. ~Jagadananda
10.9 Separate and imperishable, very pure, I am the Self, unchangeable by the effects of ignorance or by actions, I am associated with sight and so on and filled with energy. I am non-dual and established in my own nature, immovable as the sky. ~Denton
9. Being perfectly stainless, Atman is distinguished from, and broken by, nescience, residual impression, and actions. Being filled with powers such as Seeing, I am non-dual, standing [perfect] in my own nature and motionless like the sky. ~Mayeda
