Through Duality

-One comes to nonduality through duality. One word is all it takes to make the silence dual.

-They say it takes a mind to remove a mind. Throw both thorns away.

-Maya is neither existence nor non-existence. Brahman's power is double-edged today.

To One Half-Awake

-Events happen in timelessness. The mind connects them with its spider silk of spactime faster than the speed of manifesting light.

-Every sleeping dream is like being in an art performance. Then every sleeping dream is like an art performance. Now every waking dream is like being in an art performance.

-In other words, sleeping dreams seem like waking dreams as they're happening. And the waking dream feels like reality to one half-awake.

Devatmasakti Om

-Every individual reflection of consciousness exhibits a point of view born of subtle genetic material and social mind-conditioning. Cain slays Abel and so on.

-Disidentifying with an ego is like waiting for Godot. Listen to a Mantropanisad while you wait: Kena, Katha, even Svetsvatara.

-Devatmasakti! Consciousness is me. Existence is you. Atman is Brahman. Om.

On Laws of Physics and Verities of Love

The power of universal consciousness is the principle of existence manifesting as the laws of physics

and the verities of love.

The power of individual consciousness is beginningless ignorance spontaneously realizing.

Only consciousness is real. Universal consciousness is the stuff of myth. Individual consciousness is complete nescience.

Playing on Nirvana

The world is a kaleidoscope of names and forms superimposed upon immaculate existence.

People are just assemblages of thoughts appearing on the silver screen of consciousness.

Samsara is a film of namarupa playing on nirvana. Here we are now. Please enlighten us.

Beginningless Awakening

They say the brain deliberately suppresses the many dreamstate dreams so as not to bewilder the waking state one.

Gaudapada, Shankara's paramaguru, says there's only two states of consciousness—sleep and deep sleep.

And the only waking state is self-realization. Arise and awaken from the sleep without beginning.

People are nothing but names and forms, and not exactly carved in Brahman. The wind cries Maya.

The time between understanding and realization is called gradual enlightenment.

From an enlightened point of view, there's only spontaneous enlightenment, of course.

Another name for this self-reflexive universe in Maya is gradual enlightenment.

Similar to deep sleep, dreaming, and waking, there are three stages of gradual enlightenment: 

beginningless ignorance, the dawn of understanding, and gradual enlightenment.

There's no real money in enlightenment. 

There's a living to be made in understanding though.

But beginningless ignorance is where the big game hunters go.

Upanishads are the first self-help books and to date unsurpassed.

Rare is a homosapien birth longing for release discovering a nondual guru. 

You never get what you want. What you really want is more.

You were never no sunflower, sunflower. You are always the sun. 

Maya is a bottomless hole. No one ever fills it.

1. Ten Thousand Tongues

The mind appears in Brahman. The mind is made of Brahman. The mind is activated by Brahman. The mind is witnessed by Brahman. There is nothing for Turiyam to witness.

The mind creates in twos. The mind deconstructing itself is nondual. Nothing said is completely true. Every word speaks in ten thousand tongues.

They say wisdom points. But everyone is looking from their own direction. Finding fault in any sign is relatively easy. Reorienting oneself is hard.

2. Quoth the Great Blue Heron

If you come for the Emperor of Ice Cream, you better not miss.

Don't end up a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac.

Quote me no Great Wave nor Mount Fuji. Every picture tells satori.

3. Camelotta Dreaming

First I am. Next I know. Last I love I know I am. Satcitananda!

Brahman is wielding its sword of Maya. And duality.

Consciousness is not experiencing the mind as separate from itself.

Consciousness is experiencing itself as the mind.

The principle of existence is the first principle.

Consciousness is substratum to all superimposed misunderstandings.

Ananda is loving that.

Maya is invisible like quantum physics.

Brahman is that metaparadigm transcending spacetime.

Consciousness-existence can't be deconstructed honestly.

The mind experiencing itself is called dreaming. 

Deep sleep isn't no mind. Deep sleep is mindless.

Consciousness experiencing the mind is called the waking dream.

The body-mind doesn't manufacture consciousness like a dark satanic mill. Consciousness is the nondual substrate upon which a body-mind is superimposed.

People are like silver balls in a pinball machine not knowing it. The power of brahman is maya. Avidya is its kryptonite.

Self-awareness is another name for love. Consciousness-existence is another term for metaphysical ground. Satcitananda is another way of saying I love I know I am.

Brahman is naturally self-aware. Maya is dreaming. Avidya is a bad dream. Worship one. Love one another. Realize nonduality. 

If consciousness is existence and ananda is the bliss of self-awareness, satcitananda. Come forth sweet resurrected angels of reflexive self-awareness.

Philosophy is full of words. There are four mahavakyas used in countless variations.

If consciousness is the metaphysical gound called brahman,

and the innermost self called atman is brahman,

then I am brahman,

tattvamasi.

Not only am I myself that consciousness in which the universe appears, I pervade that universe like clay pervades clay pots in Sky City.

Earth, water, fire, wind, space, sun, moon, and human being. 

Thus reflect the moving and non-moving arms of an eightfold entity.

But nothing else exists for those reflecting deeply towards 

that supremely transcendent and all-pervading Dakshinamurti.

The universe is made of name, form, energy, light and delight

as namarupa is superimposed on satcitananda.

Seeing through name and form is the true visualizing

that unseeable satcitananda, parabrahman.

Heresies in the Material World 1

The seer itself, the sky-like supreme; ever-shining and changeless, one alone and unborn; stainless, all-pervading, nondual.

1. Consciousness

a. Consciousness is not a product of the material world in general, and of the body-mind in particular. 

b. Consciousness is the ground upon which the body-mind is super-imposed.

c. Consciousness is the noumenal absolute godhead nondual Brahman. 

d. The universe appears in Brahman. The universe is of Brahman. Brahman is all there is.

d1. As dreamstates appear in the mind, and dreams are of the mind, and the mind is in and of nondual consciousness.

I minus unawareness equals awareness. Aum.

2. Dreamstates

The waking dream state seems real because it appears in and of unchanging consciousness which is as real as it gets.

The sleeping dream state appears real for a moment because it appears in and of the changing mind.

3. Elementary

Understanding the metaphysics of Advaita is like knowing the floor you're standing on is 99.9% space—

like indirect (paroksha) to direct (aparoksha), like the difference between physicist and sage.

4. Am I

Am I the body-mind which is nothing without Brahman or am I Atman, Brahman, in which nothing but dreams appear?

Am I a body-mind reflecting consciousness or am I consciousness reflecting in a body-mind? That is the real question.

Nondual Creed

1. Consciousness is not a product of the body-mind. 

2. Consciousness is the ground upon which the body-mind is superimposed. 

3. Consciousness is the noumenal absolute called Brahman. 

4. The universe appears in Brahman. 

5. The universe is of Brahman. 

6. Brahman is all there is.

7. Nondual Brahman is consciousness-existence called Satcitananda.

8. I, Atman, am Brahman, is Turiyam.

Aum

Suite Consciouness Am I

Consciousness transcends the mind like the sea surrounds an island. Consciousness is pure and unadulterated. Reflected consciousness adds thought like a mixed drink.

When reflected consciousness sleeps, consciousness witnesses the absence of duality. Consciousness is never lost. Only the mind turns off, like during deep sleep. Consciousness is the seer. Not only does the seer pervade the seen, the seen is consciousness.

Materialism has been disproved by every science yet scientific materialism persists. The hard problem of consciousness for consciousness studies is it just won't go away. For Consciousness is the ground before time and the space beyond space-time. Aum.

On Duality and Nonduality

Both birth and death reveal the unreality of duality. There's no need to figure it further.

Only consciousness is unending. It's non-existence can't be known. Only consciousness is the knower.

Deconstruct duality daily. Why not? Duality is much more trouble than it's worth.

Nonduality, on the other hand, deconstructs your troubles. So watch what you identify with.

Worship whatever deity you want. Everything is possible in Maya.

As Maya is beginningless, it makes for excellent gods and true believers.

Freedom is another mahavakya for understanding secondless reality. 

No gods means no people. Maya finally has its happy ending.

Diamond Meme

Both likes and dislikes are the stuff of samsara. Maya is just the stuff of creation. The mind is the means of our house arrest.

A diamond is just another stone in this Isvaraverse. Our relation to that stone is dependent on the meaning we are giving to the diamond.

Freedom isn't reading meaning into anything—seeing all things are made of Brahman. And self-awareness is the highest meaning of them all.

I Am (Aham Asmi)

Beyond the Big Bang Theory of All Creation, there is Existence alone (sat eva), one only without a second (ekam eva advitiyam).

Because Existence is beyond the manifestation of names and forms, Existence is unconstrained by names and forms.

When they say 'existence is,' all that can be said about Existence has been said. For Existence is Brahman and Atman is Brahman, I am.
