Consciousness is the sun.
And reflected consciousness is the moon.
The sun is that self-shining witness and unmoving mover.
The moon is the knower of the dark.
Moonlight is the mind shining on maya.
Or through it with truest viveka.

2. Not a fan of the english translation of discrimination for viveka. The word has been abused by jim crow in america. Discernment is an alternative definition but it sounds passive to these ears. Viveka is much more alive. Long live the sanskrit.
