Scientific theories concerning consciousness are a dime-a-dozen but cost millions and millions. In advaita, theories are created to be deconstructed.
Searching in vain for their holy grail, scientific materialism is all for nothing if consciousness is not proven to be a creation of the material world.
Consciousness is the ground of existence. The proof is your self. Neither body, breath, mind, intellect, nor ecstasy is atman. Thus speaks the panchakosha.
The body is neither immortal nor immutable.
The vital breath is both inner and outer. Atman is neither nor in-between.
Ignorance of reality resides in the mind, projecting a universe and all the gods.
The intellect knows only the dark—until enlightened by the satguru.
Happiness, joy, and ecstasy are like kissing the mystical reflection of limitless bliss.
